Meeting between Daily Sabah and South African media representatives

On Monday, July 16, 2018, we hosted a delegation of media representatives from South Africa to discuss current political and regional issues.

Taking place within the scope of Yunus Emre Institute's "Be our guest" project, South African journalists visited Turkey. The main objective of the project is expressed as forming a positive perception of Turkey around the world and in various areas including the arts, economics and education. It also aims to increase the number of people who do business with Turkey.

In this context, media representatives from South Africa came to Istanbul. We as Turkey's daily newspaper published in four languages proudly hosted our guests. The issue of women's empowerment and gender equality was one of the top agenda items that was discussed in the meeting, along with the economic structure and education system in both countries. At the end of the meeting, the South African representatives expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received from our team.
