Meeting between Daily Sabah and U.S. Students

On Wednesday, August 8, 2018, we hosted a delegation of students from the U.S. to discuss their trip to Turkey and the cultural relations between both countries.

Participating in Yunus Emre Institute's "Turkish Summer School" project, students of diverse nationalities studying in American universities came to Turkey to learn more of the language and culture. The main objective of the project is expressed as forming a positive perception of Turkey around the world and in various areas, including the arts, economics and education. It also aims to increase the number of people who do business with Turkey.

We as Turkey's daily newspaper published in four languages proudly hosted our guests. Our team began by introducing our newspaper and outlining the work we do, before discussing with the students about Turkey-U.S. cultural and educational relations. We gave the students a tour of our news room and answered questions they had about our work and about the Turkish culture and language. Finally, the students expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received from our team.
